The Base Café

Centrally located just off the market square, and facing one of the towns longest established businesses, Jane Young, The Base Café is a great place to take a break and escape the crowds of the busy market town of Newark on Trent, while remaining centrally located.

The café seats approximately 20 people, and is a warm and friendly place to be on even the chilliest of days. In the summer visitors can take their drinks outside to our tables, and watch the world pass by.

As well as fine coffees and teas, and a choice of cold beverages, a small selection of delicious home baking is also available, such as homemade scones and cakes.

Or for something more savoury, paninis are freshly prepared and toasted to order.

The Base Café also sells beverages for take away.

The coffee Shop opens daily at 8.30am and closes at 4.00pm, Monday through Saturday.
